Department of Christian Studies
The educational objective of the department is to train Christian leaders for the 21st century who will contribute to the Church and Society through their various pastoral and missionary activities. It aims to promote the spiritual and intellectual qualities of students who will become responsible Christian leaders in the world. Students are encouraged to equip themselves with theological knowledge based on an evangelical interpretation of the bible, to pursue Christian spirituality beyond denominational differences, and to explore practical principles to guide and direct their ministry..
Division of language
Major of Korean Language and Culture
This major concentrates on Korean language, classical literature, contemporary literature, and culture. Students become true specialists in Korean language and literature, as well as in the educational aspects of the language. Graduates have career options in journalism, editing, advertising, and the culture industry.
Major of English Language and Literature
The major aims to produce creative writers in the areas of broadcasting, publishing, games, animation, electronic books, and independent features. The curriculum includes a variety of areas, including storytelling, theories of culture and content, understanding of multimedia, and the culture and content business.
Major of Chinese Language and China Studies
This department provides over 220 students opportunities to become future China specialists. Through various courses in Chinese language, politics, economy, society, literature, and culture, students are able to learn and study many aspects of China, which is developing rapidly in this global era.
