The School of Business Administration
The School of Business Administration Department provides a diverse and deeper working-based curriculum than the general management department by integrating business and tax accounting departments to freely select multi-disciplinary classes for management and tax accounting school tracks. This maximizes students' choice and satisfaction, and is gaining a good reputation in the corporate field.
Business Administration Track
Business Administration Track provides a variety of training courses in the field of corporate practice such as marketing, HR, finance, production, management information, and strategy in a rapidly changing industrial environment.
Tax Accounting Track
Preparation for acquiring accredited accountants and tax accountants through learning of finance, cost, tax and computational(tax) accounting, and employment related qualifications such as computational(tax) accounting for students who want to work for general companies. We are training to cultivate practical skills through acquisition and field practice of tax offices and large companies.
Department of Digital Business
The Department of Digital Business is a department that promotes corporate management activities in the field of digital business (e-business, digital contents business, media marketing) where imagination and creativity are combined with information and communication technology(ICT) to create high value. This department fosters management talents who can commercialize and commercialize digital contents.
Department of Safety Engineering
Hoseo University is the only university in Korea that can provide safety education as a specialized institution designated by the Industrial Safety and Health Act and the Chemical Substance Management Act, and is one of only two domestic universities among 18 recognized hazard testing institutions nationwide. Department of Social Welfare Counseling
The Department of Social Welfare Counseling at Hoseo University was established with the goal of fostering creative social service professionals who can practice professional intervention in a various personal and social risks in low birth rate and aging society. We are operating a convergence-type curriculum that runs two courses of specialized curriculums for obtaining a first-class social worker and third-level youth counselor certificate, which are promising social service related national qualifications.
Department of Korean Language and Culture
The Department of Korean Language and Culture fosters talents who will lead the globalization of Korean language culture and Korean education and Korean language culture. To this end, we are operating specialized education programs to develop expertise in Korean language culture, Korean language teaching ability as a foreign language, and Korean language culture and educational content production.
Department of English Language and Literature
The Department of English Language and Literature provides a comprehensive understanding of 1)the nature and structure of English language, 2)the wide variety of literary works written in English, 3)American & British culture, and 4)the theory and practice of English education. The department also offers practical courses required for professional works, such as international tourism and world trade. The English department students learn English not only as a global language but also as a future discipline that converges humanities and sciences, which leads to the improvement in communicative skills and development in creativity. The students are expected to advance into various career fields as one pleases.
Department of Chinese Studies
Department of Chinese studies is a department that provides comprehensive education on Chinese regional studies such as trade, business, culture, tourism, economy, society, history, and culture as well as Chinese to train Chinese experts. An internal track is installed to operate pre-requisite and post-requisite courses for each internal track.
Department of Law, Police and Public Administration

Social Welfare Track
This course teaches knowledge and solutions to solve problems such as poverty and violence in social welfare targets such as the disabled, women, children and the elderly.
Senior Welfare for the Elderly Track
The goal is to nurture senior welfare professionals who respond professionally to future aging issues. This department aims to educate youth cultural activity experts(Youth Instructor Level 2) and youth counseling experts(Youth Manager Level 3) according to the Youth Basic Act. In addition, under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, a curriculum to train professional counselors and second-class full-time teachers is also operated.
